The RFL is delighted to announce the winners of the 2010 National Volunteer Awards.
After gaining their respective accolades at a regional level the seven were then selected by an independent panel and were recognised for their efforts throughout the course of the year.
All the winners will now be invited to receive their awards at the Carnegie Challenge Cup Final at Wembley later this month.
Celebrating being named Volunteer Co-Ordinator of the year is Northampton Rugby League club's Andrew Quirke.
""Its an honour to receive any award" says Andrew, "but to receive it at Wembley Stadium at the biggest game of Rugby League in the calendar will be fantastic. I am very proud to be recognised with the award, but at the same time everyone involved in Northampton Rugby League club should be congratulated for playing their part in creating such a successful club. I am looking forward to the day immensely!"
In 2009, the Midlands' Tim Fellows received the Unsung Hero Award at Wembley and described the occasion as one of the most exhilarating experiences of his life.
"Without the hard work of the thousands of volunteers our game would certainly not be able to function," said David Gent, the RFL's Director of Participation and Strategic Partnerships.
"There are so many people who devote their time to help the sport thrive at grass roots level and holding the awards gives us a chance to celebrate their achievements. Past years have seen some remarkable examples of volunteering within our game and this year has certainly proved to be no different."
"The Carnegie Challenge Cup Final is one of the biggest games in the Rugby League calendar and gives us the perfect opportunity to thanks the award winners for their efforts. I'd like to congratulate them on their achievements and hope that they have a great day at Wembley."
