Sports Coach UK: How To Coach Disabled People In Sport

This workshop tackles questions that are frequently asked by sports teachers, coaches and participants about how to work with disabled sports people. This includes a whole spectrum of new ideas for inclusion, the workshop will introduce and offer guidance to any coach involved with disabled people in sport, the emphasis being to introduce coaches to the Inclusion Spectrum and effective practice.
Please be aware this workshop is aimed at beginner coaches and level one coaches.
At the end of the workshop, coaches will be able to:

* determine how to include disabled people in sport
* select appropriate coaching activities
* create effective coaching environments

English Federation for Disability Sport: Disability Equality Training

This training will open your club, sport facilities, leisure centres and fitness facilities to everyone. This one-day course will increase candidates' confidence when working with disabled people and give a greater knowledge of ho to make the fitness services that you provide more inclusive. Aimed at Managers, Receptionists, facility staff, fitness suite staff, recreation assistants, lifeguards, coaches, sport development officers and others involved in organising and delivering fitness opportunities to disabled people.
