Level 1
UKCC Level 1 Rugby League
In order to coach you need to hold a current coaching qualification.
The RFL supports the UK Coaching Framework and all our awards are based on this national agreement.
These UK Coaching Certificates (UKCC) are nationally recognised awards within sport and meet National Occupational Standards.
Is the Level 1 right for me?
This the minimum qualification for those who run or wish to run Rugby League coaching sessions.
The course is suitable for parents, volunteers and those with limited experience of the game and coaching. The course introduces good coaching practice and focuses on the development of the core skills of the game.
