Mark Sloan started coaching at a local club and has progressed through the RFL coaching pathway.

Coaching on last year's Origin and District series, Mark is now Head Coach of the Midlands Under 15's Player Development Centre.

Mark has recently started the process of becoming a coach educator for the RFL, a great example of the opportunities open to enthusiastic and ambitious coaches and in 2010 will be the Head Coach of the Midlands Lionhearts side.

Jim is currently an assistant coach on the RPDC's at under 14'.

Coaching in the environment of the development centres has helped him to develop his skills, knowledge and experience of coaching. The new skills are taken back to other coaching environments and passed on to players and coaches.

The experience of coaching on the RPDC has given Jim the opportunity to go to Russia with the RFL to coach in Universities and Schools to pass on his knowledge of the game.
